No more 'Only Fools and Horses' episodes

By Kris Green - Digital Spy July 26

The cast of classic BBC comedy Only Fools and Horses will not be regrouping for another festive special.

John Sullivan, writer of the show, is said to have given up on plans for a new Christmas story after he failed to lure back Delboy actor Sir David Jason.

Sue Holderness, who played Marlene, told The Sun: “David thinks he’s too old to play Del now. For the last three years, John has thought maybe David would decide to do more because everyone else wanted to.

“But I think he’s got the message now and sadly there won’t be any more episodes.”

Holderness and on-screen husband John Challis (Boycie) are both to appear in the spin-off series The Green Green Grass, which starts later this year.

Challis added: “We don’t see much of David now.”
