THE BBC has ordered a Christmas special of new sitcom Green Green Grass.
Bosses were so pleased with viewing figures for the first episode of the Only Fools and Horses spin-off they called for a feature-length story.
Nine million viewers saw dodgy car dealer Boycie and wife Marlene - played by John Challis and Sue Holderness - settle into life in Shropshire.
A TV insider said: "The success isn't a big surprise because it's written by Del Boy's creator John Sullivan. But the thumbs-up means we wanted to give it an even bigger stage in the festive season."
